Little Squirts Occupational Therapy services empower children aged 0-18 in developing essential life skills. Through personalized interventions, we focus on refining fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities. Our team collaborates with each child, tailoring therapeutic activities to their unique needs, fostering independence, and enhancing their ability to navigate the challenges of daily life with confidence. Whether addressing sensory challenges or promoting fine motor coordination, our goal is to guide children towards achieving meaningful milestones and building a foundation for lifelong success.
We perform individual evaluations including individual assessments, interviews with parents and patients, and thorough testing. Through this collaborative process, we establish personalized goals and prioritize essential functions for each child's development. This targeted approach sets the stage for an effective Occupational Therapy plan.
We believe in turning therapy into play, making the journey enjoyable and effective for children. Utilizing play as the core element of our Occupational Therapy sessions, we engage in purposeful activities that enhance strength, improve range of motion, and promote overall movement. This approach allows children to achieve developmental goals seamlessly, creating a foundation for lasting progress.
Tiffany received her Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University in 1996 and her Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2010. She is registered with the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy and has worked as a school-based occupational therapist for ages 3-21 for approximately 10 years, where she treated children with a variety of diagnoses and challenges such as autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, developmental delay, physical disabilities, visual-motor difficulties, and fine motor difficulties, including handwriting. The primary focus of therapy has been on helping children be as functional as possible across a variety of settings. She is excited to be working in a pediatric outpatient setting as she loves children and can bring her previously gained skills and apply them in a similar manner. Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family, including 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. She also enjoys, running, reading, watching movies, cooking, and travel.
